Lynx, wolves and bears are not returning to a wilderness but into a landscape dominated by heavy human use with the many diverse needs of different users; this may trigger conflicts.
KORA studies the life history of the carnivores and monitors the development of their populations. We explore the effect of carnivores in our modern cultural landscape and use this baseline information in the process of minimizing conflicts under the coexistence of large carnivores and people.
